We base our business policy on the principle of sustainability. Consecutively you will find some of our measures to responsible handling with the environment and our resources.

CO2-neutral Server

Because of the server and computer consumption of electricity, to surf the internet causes hugh amounts of CO2-emissions nowadays. We attend to the optional initiative „CO2 neutral-server“. This one aids – with our contributions – projects for renewable energy and buys for us and for the in base of the page impressions calculated CO2-consumption adequate CO2-certificates at the EU-standard. GoGreen – environmental friendly transmission

The German post office DHL offers us as consignors the possibility to make all our sendings CO2-neutral for a small surcharge and with GoGreen. Since the 15th august 2010 we attend to this programme.

The ambition of this programme is the reduction of all CO2-emissions from the German post office DHL by up to 30 percent until 2020. Further information to GoGreen: http://www.gogreen.de

Disposal and Recycling

We commit ourselves to proper disposal of all our waste products. All Connox employees work according to the garbage avoidance principle, which avoids unnecessary waste production.

As a consequence, it is self-evident for us to reuse the manufacturers dispatch cartons and cushion material. Our own stuffing consists of 100% remanufactured paper and has the certificate „Blauen Engels“ (blue angel).

All of our circulating cartons and packages accord to the german licensed packaging ordinance . Aspiration of this package ordinance is to reduce the environmental pollition because of packaging waste, and to promote the reuse of packages. (Cf. § 1 Waste management aims).
