aroma_ID Description

aroma_ID was founded by both industrial designers André Stocker and Karsten Küber in 1999. Both of them have studied at the University for Design in Darmstadt. Aroma_ID possesses a series of highly specialized free employees that form a creative and highly qualified team according to the project’s demands.

“Design helps products to reach market identity and transports values and demands”. Aroma_ID stands for the demand of give something special to product development. The special something in simple things is a natural daily work for aroma_ID. The design team works with products including consumer-goods and investigation-goods for customers. The versatility of their work creates sustainable connections, synergy effects and it is the source of innovation force from aroma_ID.

André Stocker
Born the 19.03.71 in Luzern, the Swiss learned the profession of wood-construction-drawer. One year of studies at the arts university of Basel followed in 1993 and then his career at the Design University in Darmstadt. Besides a half-year scholarship at Neumeister-Design in Munich, he worked in London during one year at Zaha Hadid and several design offices in Rhein-Main.

Karsten Küber
Born the 19.07.70 in Mainz, he learned the profession of model-constructor at the MAN company. Afterwards he followed the aim of studying industrial design and began to study in 1993 at the Design University in Darmstadt. During his student-time he made a scholarship at Neumeister-Design in Munich and worked 5 years for the design office Artefakt.
