Christian von Ahn Description

STUDIO VON AHN was founded in Hamburg in 1997. After a five-years stop in Como, Italy from 2002 to 2007, STUDIO VON AHN is in Hamburg again.

The studio works in the fields interior and product design with focus on interior architecture and light planning for re-constructions of private homes, restaurants, bars, offices and practice rooms.

Christian von Ahn designs furniture and objects for renowned companies sucha as Ligne Roset, FiamItalia, Jesse, Kristalia and Philippi.

Christian von Ahn was born in Hamburg in 1970 and studied Industrial Design at the University for Applied Arts in Hamburg from 1992 to 1997. 1995 he made a design semester at the Parsons University in New York.

He worked for Tobias Grau from 1991 to 1997.

After graduating in Industrial Design, he became independent with his own design office.
