Jochen Korn was born in 1971. He is the founder and creative head of Korn Produkte,

After an apprenticeship to become a carpenter, he studied at the Work Academy and the Arts University Kassel. As diplomat product designer and certified artist in handicraft, he enlarged continuously the spectrum of his designs and results.

From individual furniture unique to serial medicine products, whether pragmatic room solutions or staged offices, pharmacies or doctor practices, Jochen Korn answers numerous design questions from the idea to the realization.

“A design experience emerges in the unconscious of people, which can sometimes be inspired by good designed values.”, said Korn. The surrounding of the product is important for this too, the package, the product graphic and especially the transmission of the handicraft evaluation.

Korn experimented several years with a new special floor which could be designed highly condensed and absolutely flat and smooth for several years at the University Kassel. The potential of this material doesn’t only allow to experiment but also to realize special solutions inside of living areas, like the spectrum of products and ideas displays.
