Markus Honka Description

Markus Honka studied interior architecture after his schooling to become a cabinetmaker and clerk. Since 1997 he is an independant designer with the office honkahe interieur + furniture, Nürnberg, really successful and received many design prizes.

"Through my eclectic schooling I have an open eye for the need of my customers and for praxis relevant solutions. I understand design not only as design, but conducts the whole production process. Only on that way I can fulfil my copious quality demand.

I especially estimate the open and constructive communcation with the companies. In that lays the key for the successful conversion of the design to the marketability."

Besides his works as designer Markus Honka also works as a tutor at the College Of Higher Eductaion - Nürnberg in architecture.
