Mikal Harrsen Description

Mikal Harrsen can call himself an industrial designer since 1999. 10 years later he founded his own design studio called Harrsen&Hall together with the architect Adam Hall.

Herrsen says he doesn’t follow a prepared philosophy and that he doesn’t search one. He thinks, that instead, the great challenge is to find new ways of desgn again and again that give the future its face. Ideas are the result of determinate demands, and his task as a designer is to find functional and aesthetic solutions for this demands.

As this aim often succeeds for him and his partner, the amount of desired design awards they have received did not come by chance (for example the red dot award 2004 and 2005).
