“My design is puristic and accents material. I tried to design products and product systems in a adequately way. That means to give you a long, formal and functional validation. The single product should seem discreet but also stand to

Since 1996 Olaf Schroeder (geb. 1966) developed - in his own development office for industrial- and public design - design concepts and solutions for the areas product-, furniture, system- and exhibition design and design projects in a public room.
He especially developed and designed exhibitions and pavillon-architectures in context of the self-expression of profession office of the city Frankfurt. So e.g. the trade exhibition for the Pauls church anniversary or the Goethe year in the historical Römerhalle, and the Akquisepavillon for the olympia application and other exports in the public room like e.g. the “Lichtbank” at the Hauptwache within the Luminale, Light & Building of the trade fair Frankfurt.
Olaf Schroeder is member in the design centre Hessen and was assistant lecturer from 1998 to 2002 at the College for Art in Offenbach. Since 2004 Olaf Schroeder is constant a workshop tutor for the area "furniture and environmental design" at the Department of Industrial Design of the Tunghai University of Taichung, Taiwan.
