Peter Brandt Description

Peter Brand was born in Sweden in 1959 and started to work at Swedish manufacturer Blå Station in 1994. There, he is seen as a self-criticising ascetic and was furthermore the first designer who was not a member of the Lindau family.

His conception for the stool Bimbo drew Brand allegedly with aquarelle pens on the back of a letter to Blå Station. Family Lindau was so enthusiastic about the conception that they could hardly wait to start the production.
