Rodrigo Torres Description

The designer Rodrigo Torres was born 1976 in Bogotá in Columbia.

In 1998 he obtained his degree in Industrial Arts from the faculty of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá and received the master at the Domus Academy in Milan. He received his first awards for his works while studying.

In the years from 2000 to 2004 did he work as a designer in cooperation with the studio of Stefano Giovannoni and designed products for companies like Alessi, Fiat, Magis and Oregon Scientific. In 2005 did Torres win the Lapiz de Acero Award.

By now he worked in cooperation with a lot of different companies like Ferrero, Nike and Microsoft, and had a lot of exhibitions. He teached at the Domus Academy in Milan and at the Instituto europeo di design in Turin.

Today he lives and works in Milan.
