This flame doesn’t need a carrier – it does simply hang from the ceiling. For the Torch Lamps Series lamps, the designer Sylvian Willenz was inspired by the silhouette of a typical hand carried torch. ”I like it to just think about an object: how would your shadow look? How could they be normal but with s certain recognition value? How could it be through thought, clever but elegant at the same time? They are playful and graphical, like a symbol or an icon.”

The lamps are available in three versions with cone forms or a round shade. In all variants the original principle comes to be the same one. The lamps are hanged at the ceilings and can be assorted as singles or a whole flock of more lamps.

If desired, Torch Light can be laid down serving as a table or floor lamp consequently. Through its comparatively large shade, the danger that the lamp comes into direct contact with the floor is excluded. Furthermore the buld if protected by a covering that reminds of the headlights of a car.
