Furni is a Canadian two-man company that consists of Mike Giles and Devin Barrette. They design and produce their creations, such as the Alba ME alarm clock, under the name Furni. The company was founded in the year 2005 for tailor-made furniture.

Mike Giles and Devin Barrette bought tools and rented a small shop in Montreal with the first money. They still produce and sell their products from that shop. The Furni company is still a two-man business: the Devin Barrette handicraft art meets Mike Giles’ interest at modern and simple design. That is how both of them keep their independence and flexibility as well as the total control of the Furni products.

With their Alba ME alarm clock Furni offers an aesthetical and appealing product in a contemporaneous eco-design that is exclusively made out of Canadian furniture industry offcuts.
