Great idea in small size: PH 2/1 by Louis Poulsen

Louis Poulsen brings a new PH-Table Lamp to the market in September 2011. The table lamp belongs to the 2/1 family that already includes a chandelier, a pendant as well as a wall lamp. The design of the lamp was coined by Poul Hennigsen whose initials form the name of the lamp.

The PH 2/1 lamp is the smallest of the PH three-shade lamps family. It is ideally designed to be placed in rooms that need small light points to create a pleasant atmosphere and to underline the dimensions of the room, because of its size.

Louis Poulsen equips the PH 2/1 table lamp with a bright halogen illuminant that has been optimized by a matt glass shade of the illuminant besides its good colour-rendering qualities. A comfortable and soft light is guaranteed by that. The halogen illuminant can directly be connected to the available electricity system with 230 V.

The new table lamp PH 2/1 ensures high light comfort in every room. The three opal glass shades are mouth blown and are equal to the optimal quality of three-layer glass shades that characterize the Louis Poulsen products. The PH 2/1 table lamp is available with a high gloss chromed foot and mouth blown three-layer opal. The cable is made out of black plastic and possesses a switch. The height of the lamp is 355 mm and the shade’s diameter is 20 cm.
