Issey Miyake

Miyake founded in 1970 as Miyake Design Studio his fashion label in New York. In 1971 followed the first collection. In November of the same year did he form the company up as Issey Miyake International Inc.(today it is only Issey Miyake Inc.).

Under the brand name Issey Miyake did he design women and men clothes, perfumes and accessoiries. The main office is today in Tokyo.

With more than 135 stores in Japan and 11 international stores grew the design studio to a global company. Famous Asian and European designer, like Naoto Fukasawa, Tokujin Yoshioka, Harri Koskinen or Shunji Yamanaka designed stylish and timelessness accessoiries for Issey Miyake.
