j-me

The Londoner design studio j-me develops creative products for living and to make presents. The brothers Jamie and Mark let their ideas run free: their young label j-me, already awarded several times, places emphasis on every household. Charged with British humour and original designs.

Jamie studied product design at the Central St. Martin’s College in London and got graduated in 1994. A bohemian thinker, his design background is very easy: he follows his instinct; a flash of inspiration often turns out to be a commercial product.

Marc finished his studies one year later at the same College. He is the practitioner and promoter: „ To actualize ideas is extremely satisfying“. Marks enormous knowledge about „how to produce things“, allows j-me with its design concepts and the used material to max out.

J-me’s design studio, at first in their local home, settled to London’s North side. That is where Jamie and Mark spread their wings, expanding successful and gaining international profile, as an innovative and reliable designer brand.

In October 2007 j-me moved to London’s heart, to get nearer to creative inspiration. The Oxo-tower at the Thames edge is their new location. Additional to their hitherto main product “gifts”, j-me presented the new range “living”.
