Crystalplant©

The material Crystalplant© is a high technologic and unique connection material which consists of a high amount of natural minerals (ATH Bauxite-derivates) and of a low part of high-pure polyester and acryl polymers; it therefore is an inert, hypo-allergen and non-toxic material.

The measure-pigmented, minerals filled polyester resin and acrylic composite material Crystalplant© is, -e.g. used by Zanotta for the Blanco dining table. The material is reusable by 100%, practically fire-resistant (class 1), with optimal UV-resistance, it is compact and pores-free, hygienic, strong and also pleasant to touch with its velvety, natural stone-similar surface.

Crystalplant© is restorable by 100%, this means that it can be brought back to its initial form with a simple cleaning product and a scouring sponge and even remove fire marks from cigarettes will disappear this way. Because of its special durability and reformation, the material is environmentally friendly.

Crystalplant© has its origin in Italy. The material was invented and manufactured in the research and development center of Nicos International SpA which is based in the technology outpost in Portobuffolè, in the province of Treviso.
