HPL (High Pressure Laminate)

HPL is the abbreviation of High Pressure Laminate. Laminate is a material which consists of two or more layers of glued boards. HPL however consists of several, with melamine and panthenol resin summered papers which have been pressed under high temperature and a cover layer.

The versatile water-resistant material HPL is characterized by architectonic straight-lines and exceptional material qualities with sustainable usage. The scratch resistant boards and furniture are easy to care, in and outdoor suitable and resistant against all common care products and chemicals.

The material is therefore used where hygiene is important bit also where there is a high shock resistance, heat-resistance and humidity-resistance. No need to check after years since the layer boards aren't in corrosion or oxidation danger. Moreover the material is recyclable.

All decorative HPL surfaces can be cleaned with soft soap. Hard dirt are normally removed with solvents. Abrasive cleaning products (e.g. scouring powder) should be avoided.
