Easter has a different meaning for each one of us: while scientists discuss about the words’ origin, children are delighted about eggs they have to search, and hopefully find.

It is a fact that Easter is a mixture of Christian and Heathen traditions. As the most important holly day for the Christian, they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. More that at other Christian celebrations, many of the Easter traditional rites and used symbols have Heathen and folksy roots. Examples for that are the Easter-bunny, Easter-eggs or Easter fires.
