Stiletto develops and distributes fancy and intelligent lights, for example the “Glühwürmchen”, but also objects with the title “Geistesgegenstände und Geistesgegenlicht”. All the products from the brand Stiletto bear names that lead to the conclusion that the designers must be highly creative, but not to the actual objects.
The artist and design anachronist Frank Schreiner (* 1959) studied visual communications at the HdK Berlin and visual arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. There, he became a master pupil of his professor Nam June Paik.
Since 1981, on behalf of his art brand Stiletto Studios, which was influenced enormously by the large city Berlin, Frank Schreiner works to his own rule: “You don’t have to drill a hole into something where there is already one.”
In 1991, Frank Schreiner founded the design hospital.
