Sywawa

Sywawa is a subsidiary company and design line of the Belgian company Symo, a manufacturer of sunshades of all kinds.

Symo exists since 1932 and it sells its premium sunshades for patios, anglers and construction sites all over Europe. The creative directors at Sywawa are the general manager of Pierre Christiaens and Marnick Smessaert of the Belgian lighting company Dark.

Sywawa products have already been awarded some prestigious design awards and prices, such as the iF Award in gold or the Red Dot Award. In 2009 the Frou Frou sunshade has even been nominated for the German Design Price.
