The toilet brush is something like the required eval in the bathroom: required and meaningful but also not nice to look at. Alessi and Piero Lissoni end this dilemma and present the toilet brush of the bathroom-collection Birillo.
With its ambitious design the toilet-brush can be presented as adequate design-object of Alessi, which has all functional characteristics of a toilet brush when you need it. But it looks much better than all the usual toilet brushes.
The brush is made of white plastic and stands in a stand of polished stainless steel. It is not only of very high quality, but also has the benefit, that the actual brush isn't visible at all in the stainless steel box. If it isn't needed, the toilet brush comes as simple decoration object. But if you need it, it is right there.
The toilet-brush convinces with its design, its elegant plainness and the characteristics, which lift the products of Piero Lissonis Birillo from the rest of the bathroom-accessories: Through the roundings on the floor, the storing areas are not visible all all, the objects of the family seem to float on the flat areas of the bathroom.
Piero Lissoni was inspired for Birillo by the shape of a rounded square, which evolves to different three dimensional bodies. The designer himself describes the shape as „imperfect square or totally missed round shape“. The combination of the materials stainless steel and plastic (PMMA) cater also for charming contrasts in optic and haptic. Also in our blog:
