Stainless steel basket
The La Stanza dello Scirocco fruit bowl designed by Mario Trimarchi is part of a poetic design series inspired by a quiet room in old Sicilian country houses - the "Room of the Scirocco", where people would retreat to escape the heat and the wind. The design is reminiscent of scraps of paper whirled up by the wind, which come together to form a seemingly floating construction.
Made of high-quality, polished 18/10 stainless steel, it creates a sophisticated interplay of light, shadow and geometry. The asymmetrical design gives the bowl a special dynamic and makes it an elegant centerpiece on any table - whether as a fruit basket, decorative bowl or design object.
