Fashionable poster with silhouette of a woman in black clothes
Black Pants by Amelie Hegardt for Paper Collective shows a woman with black hair and black clothes. The special feature is the implied coat in the same colour as the background, which was not drawn, but only becomes visible through the silhouette of the woman and the absence of forms. Exciting and discreet at the same time, the motif blends well into any living room.
Black Pants is one of three works of art from a series of commissions for the British Fashion Council in 201 8. . Swedish artist Amelie Hegardt was asked to interpret the SS18 collection of three British designers, Georgia Hardinge, Katherine Hamnett and Mother of Pearl. The originals can be seen in the Museo ABC in Madrid.
