Blind drawings of a male model
I Think Not is a series of blind drawings by Børge Bredenbekk for Paper Collective of a male model in the "Thinker" pose. Blind drawings are created by not looking at the paper while drawing. It is a classic drawing technique in which the hand runs freely on the paper and produces surprising semi-abstract results.
"I like the contrast of the model thinking intensely about something, and I don't think about drawing at all." Børge Bredenbekk
Norwegian illustrator Børge Bredenbekk studies art and design in England and has since worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for clients in Europe and North America. Børge's work combines fantastic technical skills with a keen eye for storytelling and graphic expression.
Partial proceeds for a good cause
Paper Collective always donates part of the proceeds to a charitable cause. In the case of the I Think Not poster, the money goes to an organization that is committed to building a school in Nepal. Paper Collective also pays attention to environmentally friendly production conditions, so that all posters were awarded the Nordic eco-label Swan, comparable to the Blue Angel in Germany. The poster is a print on 200 g paper. The untreated paper is FSC®-certified and acid-free.
