Ceramic vase with wreath
The vase with the curved top comes from the archive of the Danish ceramic artist Eva Stæhr-Nielsen. The designer was awarded numerous prizes during her career, received the gold medal at the 1937 World Exhibition in Paris, the honorary diploma in 1954 and the gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1957. Her pieces are now popular with collectors all over the world.
Spring Copenhagen is now bringing the extravagant vase back onto the market so that it can decorate your living room in style. While the lower part of the vase has a classic bulbous shape, the upper part is decorated with a curved wreath, giving it an airy, light note. Individual flowers, twigs or even lush bouquets can be stylishly set in scene in the vase.
The vase is made of glazed stoneware. It should be cleaned by gentle hand washing.
