Couch cushion cover with wave pattern
The beautiful Pikkulokki pillow case from Marimekko features a unique wave pattern and subtle shades that blend in well with a variety of living room styles. In combination with other Marimekko cushions and blankets, the couch or armchair becomes an irresistible lounge area.
The idea for the Lokki pattern came to designer Maija Isola when she looked at a window with a curtain drawn over it. The sun was shining and the wide folds of the curtain formed undulating shadows on the fabric. Maija had a sudden intuition: when a fabric is printed with waves, even a small piece of such a fabric appears abundantly folded.
