A different business card holder: The Furoshiki Shiki cards holder by Goods is half-transparent and made of vinyl.
The designer Samira Boon was inspired by the traditional folding techniques during her quadrennial stance in Japan. The square cloths, called Furoshiki, were folded for many centuries, in order to store and transport things in them. This technique was also used by the Netherlands designer for her Furoshiki Shiki she made for Goods.
The Goods Furoshiki Shiki is made of one piece of vinyl, which hasn’t any zip-closures, buttons or other breaks in its design. Furoshiki is only closed when it is bent.
Because of the design consequences and the minimalism, the Goods Furoshiki soon became a modern handbag attracting curious glimpses!
