The fondue-set Classic is a remake of the classic fondue-pan. Completely kept in bright stainless steel, it appears in the traditional, light-bellied form with a long handle. The pot is on an elegant rechaud made of blackened stainless steel cast.
The fondue set Classic from the Swiss company Spring consists of a pot with lid and splash protection, Rechaud, paste burner and pans. The parts are made of 18/10 stainless steel. The black, elegant plastic handle protects against heat and is comfortable in the hand.
The Spring brothers were the first entrepreneurs 50 years ago to produce the Fondue Bourguignonne pan. The Fondue Bourguignonne owes its name to the region of Burgundy, from which the popular Charolais beef stems.
The legend behind the development of the fondue pan begins in the Balkans. There, according to legend, a Lausanne chef was invited to eat by local people. The food consisted of pieces of sheep meat, which were cooked in a pan in liquid fat, supplemented with different sauces and ingredients. At home in his kitchen, the chef tried to cook and refine this delicious recipe to serve it in his restaurant.
In search of a suitable pot he came to the Spring brothers who were known for the innovative developments of their company. This collaboration resulted in the first very special pan for fondues known and popular throughout the world
