New Norm tableware
The Norm Architects collective designed the New Norm dishes collection in cooperation with the Copenhagen restaurant Cofoco in 2011. Bowls and plates with Nordic flair. Known from the design restaurant Höst in Copenhagen, the purist dishes are a special eye-catcher in the kitchen and on the dining table.
Porcelain plates with watercolour look
The New Norm plates by Menu unify pure design with traditional elements. Varnish in different colours is burned into the porcelain at 1400 °C, giving the plates a very special appearance. The traditional burning process ensures that no plate looks like the other.
The colours of the plates are held in beautiful soft tones and have a slight gloss that is reminiscent of typical watercolour and which adds the characteristic, Nordic look of Menu to the dishes.
Combined with rustic wooden tables, the New Norm plates spread holiday feelings and remind us of past vacations at the sea – just like the design restaurant Höst. But the New Norm plates are equally special eye-catchers in the garden, while barbecueing or while having breakfast.
