The massive wood of the Lumberjack Candleholder is contrasted by the slim, swung shapes of its silhouette. Designer Simon Legald was inspired by the name giving lumberjacks that hit a tree until the upper part only balances on a slim intermediate piece.
The designer said about his inspiration: ”I find it fascinating how small details are able to change the complete character of a product. I visited many handicraft workshops during the last years and I believe that the classic carpenter art is the perfect way of adding a hint of handicraft to industrial design.”
Normann Copenhagen designed the Lumberjack candleholder out of massive oak wood. The characteristic candleholder is available in three sizes.
