Whether as toys or deco objects: The Birdies by Hans Gustav Ehrenreich meanwhile became real classics and very popular. That is the reason why the playful series has been re-edited.
As the name already reveals, Hoptimists ensure good mood by hopping. The design of the Birdie comes from the year 1968, but nothing changed regarding the happy principle since then: The bird is suspended at its feathers. When it is pulled down or pushed, it floats to the sides and up and downwards.
The Hoptimists ensured themselves a place all over the world in the 1970ies with this simple, but genius construction. And they still prove that the idea doesn’t age: The Birdies are a great decoration idea in children’s rooms or on top of baby cots. The small ones will be delighted by the hopping Birdie, but also grownups will smile by the charm of the Hoptimists-series’ birds.
