Normann Copenhagen presents with ‘Grass’ an original flower vase of the Danish designer pair Claydies. Grass is handmade and out of clay from which every vase gets its personal character and therefore becomes unique.
Grass looks like – as the name already says – a grass tuft and because of its special design, it gives the flowers a ‘new life’. The two designers of Claydies were inspired by the contrast between asphalted streets and an untouched wayside.
Karen Kjældgård-Larsen and Tine Broksø of Claydies said: ‘Grass is inspired by a ditch. We think that a ditch with wild flowers interprets the wild, Danish nature. Grass has a very naive and ceramic expression, and is encouraging, and funny. And if you take a simple dandelion, a thistle or another flower from the ditch, it just looks very nice.’
