Mouth-blown flower vase
The mouth-blown Holmegaard floor vase of the Old English series was designed in cooperation with the flower artist Claus Dalby. The floor vase is ideally suited for large floral arrangements in the style of English landscape gardens, long-stemmed flowers or branches - a popular decoration for Christmas and Easter - because of the proud size of 60 cm. The vase is a special eye-catcher on the floor in the living room, the entrance, or even on the dining room table with and without flowers.
Amphora vases for large bouquets
Claus Dalby followed the functionality and aesthetics of the Egyptian amphora when he designed the vase. The neck of the floor vase is narrow for the arrangement of both tied bouquets and loose flowers.
The belly is big, in order to offer enough water to the flowers and to avoid a frequent water exchange.
The upper edge is wide-shaped so that the flowers can lay on it. The clear mouth-blown glass is soft shaped and welcomes every guest because of the flowers and the decoration as an eye-catcher.Also in our blog:
