Blowin’ in the Wind...
The Blow Away vase has been designed in 2008 by the design team Front for the Dutch company Moooi. It's actually a classic Royal Blue Delft porcelain vase; however, it’s a bit different.
Blow Away appears to be taken by a strong gale during the manufacturing process, which would explain its typical form. In reality, however, Blow Away combines digitalization, latest ceramics design and traditional painting techniques. The classic porcelain vase that is painted with Dutch motives is so being turned into a design object with hints of art.
The Blow Away vase is being produced by the Royal Delft Porcelain Manufacture, just as its classic archetypes. Because every vase is being made and painted by hand, each vase is unique.Also in our blog:
