The best inventions are based on natural principles. This is also how the Herb Pot made by well-known Danish designer Eva Solo works. The concept rests upon a two-part box.
The plant is placed in a ceramic pot that stands on a glass box serving as a water reservoir. In nature, plants take up the required water amount with the aid of their roots. The same phenomenon happens in this Herb Pot made by Tools Design through a bunch of nylon yarns that behave as artificial root. These roots suck the water from the reservoir to the ceramic pot, granting an equally moist ground where your plant can flourish.
Potted plants like to be taken care of – even when you are on holiday. No problem, due to the “natural” principle of the pot, the plant will get the necessary water for the next 7 to 10 days.
