The brothers Mogens and Flemming Lassen belong to the greatest functionalists of Denmark with their characteristic architecture. The designer Kristina Dam honoured the brothers’ work with her art print for by Lassen.
The art print Functionalism House shows one of the most famous works of Flemming Lassen. Back then as well as today, Functionalism House is an impressing example of modern architecture, which doesn’t age: The round and harmonic lines make up a piece of Danish architecture history.
Flemming Lassen made a building with asymmetric levels and a good eye for details with his Functionalism House. Lassen thought about a boar onshore when he designed the house – an unmistakable form with clear lines that still act playful and exceptional. The Functionalism House was never constructed, but its form is considered an iconic design.
The characteristic design which emerged far from the Bauhaus movement then was honoured with the art print of by Lassen and Kristina Dam. And legendary architecture is able to move into every house now.
