The brothers Mogens and Flemming Lassen with their characteristic architecture belong to the greatest functionalists of Denmark. The designer Kristina Dam honoured the brothers’ work with her art print for by Lassen.
The art print Functionalism House shows one of the most famous works of Flemming Lassen. Back then as well as today, Functionalism House is an impressive example of modern architecture, which doesn’t age: The round and harmonic lines make up a piece of the history of Danish architecture.
Flemming Lassen designed a building with asymmetric levels and a keen eye for details with his Functionalism House. Lassen thought about a ship onshore when he designed the house – an characteristic form with clear lines that even so act playful and unmistakable. The Functionalism House was never constructed, but its form is considered an iconic design.
The characteristic design which emerged separately from the German Bauhaus movement was paid tribute with the art print of by Lassen and Kristina Dam. And now legendary architecture can makes its way into any house.
