The designer Sebastian Wrong designed the Heidi stool for Established & Sons in 2008. Anyone who thinks of rural life and farming when they think of Heidi is not entirely wrong: Wrong used farm seating as a source of inspiration.
The idea for the seat on the Heidi stool came from the classic tractor seat, which guarantees a comfortable sitting experience with its ergonomic form. The three-legged frame of the stool is based on the design of a milking stool. The greatly proportioned design of the Heidi stool emerged from this combination, focussing on modernity and comfort.
The seat of the stool is made out of plastic, the frame of oak wood. Established & Sons produces the stool with a red, white or black seat as desired.
