“Déjà-vu” is the name of a furniture series that the Japanese exceptional designer Naoto Fukasawa designed for Magis. And as its name reveals, the shape of the stool is obviously oriented at the classic form that is characteristic for this furniture shaping.
Thereby Fukasawa still achieved achieved to offer a modern expression to the classic stool with the material he chose and clear accents. Not defying the time spirit or completely yielding.
The legs of the 2005 firstly produced Déjà-vu Stool are made out of profile aluminium, the seat aut of aluminium-die casting. This makes it fire-resistant and adapted to outdoor areas. Moreover the stool is demountable if necessary. The inserted aluminium was kept natural and hasn’t been chemically treated.
We also offer the Déjà-vu in a noble black variant. The seat and legs are also available in a white and polished edition.
