Henning Koppel started designing clocks in 1978 and extended his work to weather stations and other practical items afterwards. The weather stations of the traditional Scandinavian manufacturer Georg Jensen were designed in 1980.
Designer Henning Koppel was the embodiment of Danish design of the post-war period. He was a leading personality in a movement that combined functionality and high-end design.
