Textiles made of New Zealand Wool
Fame by Gabriel is a unique wool upholstery fabric in 60 different colours with a wearability of 200,000 Martindale, which is nevertheless soft and smooth. The soft material is made from worsted yarn out of New Zealand wool.
Stretchable Worsted Yarn
Worsted yarn is a finer variant in contrast to other weaving procedures, but it is extremely durable and made with the latest weaving techniques. Moreover, Fame is stretchable up to 9.5% in both directions and thus ideal for organically shaped or round upholstered furniture in the living area or public spaces.
The colour scale ranges from vibrant colours such as green, yellow and red. Brown, copper and rust shades are a strong contrast to the bright, cool pastel shades and the fresh blue shades flow in greyish-blue over to turquoise into deep Indigo.
The Fame woollen upholstery fabric by Gabriel consists of 95% New Zealand wool and a polyamide share of 5%.
