Steelcut Trio is based on the Steelcut fabric by Kvadrat. The textile is manufactured with the same material and weaving procedure, but contrasting the base, Steelcut Trio consists of three different colour tones each one.
Goulio Ridolfo didn’t work with traditional colours when he designed Steelcut Trio, but he mixed colours which wouldn’t be used together normally. These three colour tones make up stronger and more shiny colours than those of the normal Steelcut fabric. The three-dimensional effect is even reinforced by the usage of three different, unconventional tones.
Steelcut Trio by Kvadrat consists of 90% pure new wool and 10% nylon. This mixture makes the fabric extremely robust, Steelcut Trio resists up to 80,000 Martindale. The fabric can be cleaned with a dry cloth, steam or perchlorate and ironed by medium temperature.
Last but not least, Steelcut Trio is environment friendly: The fabric out of the Kvadrat house was honoured with the Eco Flower seal by the EU and the Greenguard Environmental Institute approves that the air inside of rooms isn’t impaired by the textiles.
