Timeless Steel Tube Chair with Leather Upholstery
In 1960, the Dutchman Martin Visser, who was already the designer and head of Spectrum's product collection, designed the SZ 02 easy chair, now considered a timeless classic.
Exciting Combination of Materials
The SZ 02 easy chair by Spectrum is made up of a steel tube frame and soft leather upholstery. The interplay of these two contrasting materials gives the chair a pleasant stability combined with a very comfortable sitting experience. The light-colored leather has a balanced effect with the black frame, offering this simple design a minimalistic and delicate look. The chair can thus be integrated into almost any home setup and acts as a contrasting part to other upholstered furniture.
Natural leather
The leather is an uncolored natural core leather, which is deliberately used to counteract the rigidity of the frame with the slight irregularities and possible leather grain. The initial, rather light shade of the leather gradually becomes a rich cognac tone. With time, the material becomes smoother and more beautiful. To avoid any unwanted stretching, the seat and the backrest can be adjusted with buckles. This way, the natural material retains the right shape and rigidity.
The SZ 02 Chair is available in different leather and frame varieties. The SZ 01 with upholstery out of natural wicker and the padded SZ 03 version are also available.
