‘Déjà-vu’ is the name of the furniture series that the exceptional Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa has designed for Magis. As the name already suggests, the shape of the barstool is evidently based on the classic shape that is characteristic of this kind of furniture.
Thanks to his choice of materials and clear accents, Fukasawa managed to give modern expression to the classic barstool, neither going against the spirit of the times nor giving in to it.
The legs for the Déjà-vu barstool, first produced in 2005, are made of profile aluminium, while the seat and footrest are made of die-cast aluminium. This makes it fire resistant and suitable for outdoor use. The barstool can also be disassembled if necessary. The aluminium used is natural and not chemically processed.
We offer the Déjà-vu in the sophisticated black variation. The seat and legs are also available in white and polished finishes.
