As if it had always existed: the simplicity of the Vitra Wood Bench appears familiar at first glance. Nevertheless, the design of the solid wood bench is from the year 2014.
Benches were hardly seen for quite a while, especially not in private households. However, for some time now, their character as a sharing seating-accommodation is finally again highly appreciated in many places and the bench experiences a renaissance in many areas of public and private life. The Vitra Wood Bench, created by the designer Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, is a robust and at the same time elegant bench made of solid wood. According to its constructive simplicity, it appears as an old, well-known friend.
With its straightforward construction and the curved edges at the bottom of the seating which gives the bench a slim look, the Wood Bench by Vitra excellently suits the Vitra Wood Table. Thanks to its archetypal shape, the Wood Bench is also a perfect match for many different tables or a wonderful unique specimen on its own in various facilities.
The Vitra Wood Bench is 41 cm wide and on request, it is available with the length of 220, 240 and 260 cm as well as in further wood variants.
