The square Hal table was created by Jasper Morrison as a part of the Hal collection for Vitra. It was planned as a suitable supplement for the Hal chairs, but the simple design table can also easily stand alone or in combination with other chairs.
The solid Hal table by Vitra is stackable. They have small stoppers on the underside of the tabletop so that they don’t damage each other when stacked. This avoids direct contact with the individual tabletops. A maximum of three square tables can be stacked on top of each other.
The Hal table tabletop consists of solid-core material with a black border. The tabletop is available in white, black and grey, whereas the black top is treated with a special anti-fingerprint coat. The base is either chrome-plated, powder-coated or made of stainless steel. The table, with its different editions can be used for different purposes and meets different demands. The Hal table with its powder-coated and stainless steel frame is also suitable for outdoors.
The simple table’s appearance complements the Hal collection furniture by Vitra. Jasper Morrison has reinterpreted the classical shell chair for the Collection. The Hal table, with these advantages, complements the simple and multi-functional design, but it also suits other furniture perfectly.
