Casalino is back!
A shining star in the 70s and forgotten in the 80s, Casala wanted to re-edit the dynamic chair named “Casalino” in 2007. But where were the moulds? The company with its roots in Lower Saxony, Lauenau, found the answers in Antalya after much research. Casala brought the moulds back in order to vitalise the forgotten classic, which received the “good industrial form” award at the Hanover fair in 1971.
Casalino 2007 isn’t a remake, but the original created by the designer Alexander Bagger. “It was delighting work, so that I forgot everything around me,” explained Bagger about the lpng ago production process of his chairs.
And Casalino still breathes that happiness out of plastic-pop and the will of change of the 70s, even decades later. The 2008 model was presented by Casala one year after the new launch of the Casalino 2007. The upholstered edition Casalino 2008 ensures more sitting comfort and it naturally also offers all the advantages of the Casalino 2007 – and this is how the upholstered armchair is also resistant against shocks and scratches (since it is dyed thoroughly) and free of edges.
The upholstered seat’s colours can be selected from the textile series Xtreme Plus by Camira. The large colour selection impresses with its low-key colours and the armchair fits well into the surroundings.
