Ulisse by Konstantin Grcic for ClassiCon is a daybed that looks relaxing and comfortable with its large, free-stretched reclining surface and features a design that is reduced to the bare essentials, making the lounger almost appear like a pictogram of a daybed.
With Height-adjustable Reclining Surface
With Ulisse, Grcic developed his idea of a daybed, combining the minimalist design with traditional craftsmanship, making the daybed a symbol of peace and serenity. Konstantin Grcic was inspired by classic daybeds, such as for example the Day Bed by Eileen Gray. The couch is height adjustable in three steps, to increase the comfort and the bed’s legs have non-slip plastic glides.
Ulisse by Konstantin Grcic is available with a frames made of solid oak or untreated walnut, black stained or clear varnish. The metal components are made of solid brass without varnishing or are black chrome-plated. The padding is made of polyurethane with polyester batting, which can be covered with a cover in fabric or leather.
