The wardrobe Aster has been designed by Alessandro Dubini for Zanotta in the year 2010. Aster emerged out of the desire of creating a simple and functional object with sine and original silhouettes. The wardrobe was honoured with the Good Design Award in 2010 for its exceptional appearance and the additional functionality.
Aster possesses a fine structure which appeals with colours and shapes as if it was made out of rubber. The design is symmetric and the ends of the wardrobe which serve as feet below are used as hoofs on its top.
The wardrobe possesses the appearance of a sculptural element when it stands in the room. That is how it can serve in corridors, entrances and offices as wardrobe, at the same time everywhere else as decoration object with practical advantages.
Zanotta manufactures the Aster clothes rack out of lacquered steel. Aster is also available with four or six arms and in different colours on demand.
