The Table table by Normann Copenhagen bribes with its straight-lined design, where two materials with different expressions are combined.
It was a central aim of the designer Nicolai Wiig Hansen to unify function and aesthetics in his Tablo table. After the successful round edition, Normann Copenhagen presents a square edition now. All the Tablo tables renounce unnecessary details, which are moreover wonderfully combinable.
The name “Tablo” refers to “table” on one side, and to the French “tableau”, which is a scenic stage arrangement. Tablo harmonically fits in most of the existing interiors with its straight-lined shape. Tablo is available in different sizes and shapes and fast and easy to mount without any screws.
Nicholai Wiig Hansen explained: ”I focus on function, material and aesthetic to come together to a higher unity. A design must have usage marks and fulfil basic demands without compromising regarding the apparent effect. Accordingly the simple assembly is part of the functionality of Tablo.”
