Working Surface to lean against Walls
The Georg desk by the Danish manufacturer Skagerak was reduced to the essentials by the designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm. The table is completely made of solid oak wood with round legs and rounded edges. The slim desk is made to lean against the wall and it therefore doesn't need to be mounted with any screws. The leaning piece of furniture offers a space saving surface for the living room, the hallway or the bedroom - depending on where the practical desk is needed.
For Notebooks or Books
The piece of furniture is suitable to be used for laptop and tablet or as tray for books and newspapers. The clear design of the Georg desk keeps the office organized, avoiding a stressful surrounding. The flexibility of the Georg table is maximized because of the minimalist design, because it can change its place in only an instant. The desk can also be complemented with the Georg Drawer, which is installed at the right or left side under the table's top.
Georg made of sustainable Wood
Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm added a new meaning to additional pieces of furniture, since they are characteristic furnishing elements as they deserve it. The furniture of the Goerg collection with unusual shapes and reduced outlines are made of FSC-certified oak wood, which comes from verifiable sustainable foresting. The design piece by Skagerak ads a hint of naturalness to the ambience when it is ordered in the natural wood edition, while the black version looks noble and elegant. In contrast to the Georg console table, the desk offers a large working surface and the possibility of installing one or two practical drawers.
