Hay presents the C44 table designed by Jørgen Bækmark, the re-edition of a classic piece, which is as modern as it was back then. The table top of two colours is easily turned for different ambiences and events: that’s what makes it special.
The round table top of the C44 lays on a frame out of solid, soaped beech wood. The table top itself is made of MDF with melamine coating on both sides, so that it’s not too heavy to be turned whenever you want to: The table top of the Hay C44 table fits in a frame, without being fixed. Only a few movements are enough for a white or a black table to appear.
This is how the C44 table ensures to be adapted to different events. The flexible and timeless table is also available as C44 square and C44 rectangular table. The modular construction wasn’t only modern in the 50s – it is still modern today, and it will be tomorrow.
